your board against these templates prior to drilling. Boards
from the same batch all conformed with
each other, however boards from different batches varied by
as much as 2mm. I can not claim any confidence
in accuracy due to these measurement differences.
Once you have
selected the desired position to mount the board please
drill 4 x
3mm holes as per the mounting template. Board
orientation is at your discretion.
Screw 4 Brass standoffs in to the holes, this will be easy
with all composite materials.
Standoffs stop the board from coming in contact with the
enclosure and provide a
ventilation space underneath to assist with heat
dissipation. If you have used steel for
your enclosure you may need to tap the holes first or use an
industrial adhesive. If
the enclosures material is thin enough, M3 nuts could be
sourced and used.
