Wire AC Router to SSR 3

Wire an AC Router to a SSR

DO NOT HAVE YOUR ELECTRONICS, ROUTER OR EXTENSION CORD PLUGGED IN WHILE YOU WORKON THEM!
Check that you can see the pronged plugs of the router and extension cord are not plugged in.
Best practice –¬†hold the plugs in your hand and visually trace the cords back to the router and other end of the extension cord. This will confirm they are not plugged in.

STEP 03

Test Fit Extension Cord

Before you cut up any cords I would recommend doing a quick test fit just to make sure you have enough cord. Start at the router and drape the cord over the Z axis cable carrier.

Run it around the outside of the X axis cable carrier and through the path it will take on it’s way to the Y axis carrier. When going from the Z to the X leave a little extra. When you finally run your cables they should be loose in the carriers and have as little sharp turns as possible.

Same again for the Y axis carrier, run your cord along the carrier’s outer edge and along any cable management system you have leading back to your electronics enclosure.

The final phase is to run the cord past where you intend to install the SSR and then out to your power socket. Hopefully you managed to get all the way and have plenty to spare.
